ConSeC is the flagship annual conference of the Association of Security Consultants (ASC) which is recognised as one of the UK’s most respected practitioner focused security conferences.
ConSeC is designed as a professional forum for insight, learning, and sector alignment, offering delegates a structured environment to explore emerging risks, evolving security methodologies, and technological innovation. Each year’s programme is built around a central theme that reflects current and future challenges in the security landscape.
ConSeC 25 delivered an exceptionally strong programme, centred on the theme Conflict & Emerging Risks. The event examined how geopolitical instability and rapid technological disruption are reshaping the future of security practice and capability.
ConSeC 26 is set to build on this success with the theme Smart Cities – Smart Security: Where Urban Innovation Meets Intelligent Solutions, examining how security integrates into increasingly connected and intelligent urban environments. The programme again features dual seminar streams, one for practising consultants and a dedicated pracademic seminar, designed to bridge academic research with real‑world consultancy, providing delegates with a rare opportunity to engage with evidence‑based insights directly applicable to operational security challenges.

Travel by car
Arriving from the south:
Leave the M11 at junction 9 (signed A11 Newmarket) and take the first exit signed A1301 towards Cambridge. From the roundabout take the first left (about 800 m). At the next small roundabout follow the signpost left for the ‘Genome Campus’.
Arriving from the north:
Leave the M11 at junction 10 (note that M11 junction 9 is restricted and only accessible from the South). Turn left at the roundabout and straight over the next roundabout. Travel a mile or so on the A505 in the direction of Saffron Walden. At the next roundabout take the third exit (signed A1301 towards Saffron Walden). Pass two turnings to Hinxton village (these go to the village only), and take a right, at the next roundabout, signposted on to the Genome Campus.
