The International Arts and Antiquities Security Forum (IAASF) is an organisation dedicated to supporting and educating a global audience on protecting arts, antiquities and cultural heritage. This is achieved through social media, conferences, and exhibitions from its headquarters in the North East of England. The ultimate aim of the IAASF is to provide those involved in protecting and safeguarding cultural and heritage venues with the skills and knowledge that will enable them to play a proactive role in protecting the artefacts, operations, and people.
Following the positive feedback we received from IAASF 2023, we are delighted to return to the beautiful 17th-century Jacobean Hall within Redworth Hall Hotel, in the North East of England.
For this year’s event, we want to explore the development of resilience in the cultural sector and how it impacts infrastructure, transportation, training, operational protection, protesters and other activities. The more we can address resilience in the cultural heritage sectors the more robust our protective approach will be to ensure cultural assets are around for future generations.
Therefore, by developing resilience after experiencing these societal factors, we can continue to protect cultural venues for future generations through shared learning, networking and discovering the latest innovations in security.
