Established in 1988, the IFPO is an inclusive and diverse organization, with members and students globally.

The International Foundation for Protection Officers is committed to the support and professional development of our members and all security officers, supervisors and managers.  Through advocacy, promoting training standards, providing accessible training,

education and certification opportunities, we seek to enhance their professional standing as well as increase the perception of the vital services they provide.

Membership is open to individual security practitioners, security organisations, academic institutions and corporate end users.

Our UK & I Advisory Board is drawn from across the sector with most of its members having experience on the frontline as security officers or in the police or military.  Many of the

AB also hold leadership roles with other industry associations.
